As New Jersey citizens, we are very concerned with your plan to increase the tolls on our highways.
With the cost of living in New Jersey already extremely high, adding additional expenses such as a toll increase really hurts working families like ours. New Jersey must stop considering quick-fix gimmicks and one shot ideas to fix our state’s fiscal crisis. Our Toll Roads are a vital part of our state’s economy and any tinkering with them may hurt our state for years to come. New Jerseyans deserve better than to be saddled with 75 years worth of debt. We the undersigned, ask that you reconsider your plan to restructure the state’s finances on the backs of New Jersey commuters. |
